Piotr Beczala’s “Kiwi/ Banana Cake”

50g of butter and half a glass of sugar mix until smooth, add 1 egg yolk, 1 vanilla sugar, 1 cup flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. Mix with 3-4 mixed bananas and add beaten egg white. Pour into a cake mold and bake for 30m at 180ᴼC.
6-7 pieces of kiwi cut into cubes (leave one fruit for decoration), throw them into a frying pan, add half a glass of sugar and juice from half a lemon, cook for 3m and cool. Then add gelatin previously soaked in hot water and 0.75l of natural yogurt. Mix until smooth.
Cut the baked sponge cake into two layers and put the first layer back in a cake mold. Pour half of the yogurt mass on the first layer and cover with the second layer (“upside down”), pour the rest of the mass and decorate with slices of kiwi- set aside for about 5 hours in a cool place.
